Ever since I was little (since 1995 when the Spice Girls did their big US Tour [without Ginger Spice *sigh*] at The Great Western Forum [before the time of the Staples Center] to be exact), I’ve been in love with concerts. There’s just something about seeing your favorite band or singer live that can never compare to what you see of them on TV or YouTube. From tiny and intimate settings to nosebleed or front row seats at an arena, I’ve experienced my fave artists in probably every way possible. That is until this past Tuesday rolled around when I got to experience one of the greatest performers of our time with what has been said as one of the greatest concerts of this year– Beyonce and the “Mrs. Carter World Tour”. Hearing high raves and reviews about Mrs. Carter’s show (which was 100% epic), what could only be paired with the immensity of greatness of this tour was simply with the way in which I got to watch it. One of the UK’s fastest growing and prominent internet retailers, boohoo.com, took over the Hyde Lounge at Staples Center on Tuesday, filling the space with everything from Beyonce themed chocolate bars and popcorn to mannequins showing their latest and greatest from their Holiday 2013 collection. Making its way and name in the US, this extremely popular UK-based brand has everything on their site from exclusive staple and statement pieces to amazing shoes and accessories for anyone, any occasion, and any budget. With your fave fashionistas like Kelly Osbourne, Molly Sims, Zoe Saldana, and Whitney Port all in toe, I don’t think there was a more perfect way for any fashion lover to take in and enjoy Queen Bey.
