We’ve all been caught up with this wild world of social media and technology. All of us and our lives have slowly been turned into technology reliant monsters and have made us become obsessed with being on one’s phone or computer. I can’t say that I’m not guilty of being one of them myself, but I can say that I sometimes ponder on this change in our world today and get nostalgic of the simple (non-technology driven) days of the past and get worrisome of what will happen of the days in the future. Well, a guy by the name of Gary Turk took to technology to use it for once in a positive way and get us all to really stop and think (and say what many of us like myself have been wondering). The below video ‘Look Up’ is a lesson taught to us through a love story, in a world where we continue to find ways to make it easier for us to connect with one another, but always results in us spending more time alone. Food for Thought Friday. Enjoy!
Written, Performed & Directed by Gary Turk.
