I must admit, I’m not a spa person. Of my 25 years of existence I’ve never gone to a spa, never gotten a massage, have never done a facial, got a spray tan or more. I guess you can say I’ve always been in fear. I had come to the conclusion that I’m too weak for massages and my face is too sensitive to facials. But then one day a friend of mine recommended heading over to Gregory Dylan Beauty and swore that my life would change. Nervous about taking the plunge, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try it out. Talking to Gregory beforehand on the phone to get an idea of what I was getting myself into, he instantly made me feel right at ease before I even got there.
When I walked into his beauty oasis which is perfectly placed in the heart of West Hollywood, I instantly fell in love with the adorable decor and ambiance of the whole place. With fun patterns and furniture and the cutest little Parisian music playing in the background during your session, I instantly felt at home and the opposite of the fears I had going into this. With nearly 20 years of experience in this field, you can tell that you (and your face) are in good hands with Gregory because as we were going through the layers of services including an ultrasonic cleansing, diamond tip microderm, high frequency, and layer of oxygen, Gregory was explaining the rhyme and reasoning behind everything and what it does through each step. Instead of feeling awkward and alone while doing these treatments (to which I feel is typically the case at spas), I felt like I was having a hangout session with my bestie (who was in the meanwhile also refreshing my face). The ultimate test though was how my face would feel and react afterwards. And with a smooth and refreshed texture and no breakouts whatsoever, I’d have to say that it was the ultimate success. And in the terms that Gregory has dubbed so perfectly, I’d like to call it “Complexion Perfection”!
