Nutcracker Series: The Mouse Queen

“[SCENE 2]: “MICE!” screamed Lainey. Then, crashing from under the table, hissing and shrieking as no mouse had ever done, came their leader— the Mouse Queen.

The Mouse Queen saluted her troops and the army of mice advanced. Lainey tried to hide in a corner—getting as far from the battle as she could. The Mouse Queen herself was battling the Nutcracker!”

For today’s Mouse Queen look, I decided to bring out the stylishly cool faux fur jacket trend that’s all the rage this winter season (and probably the past 6-7 winter seasons). Who can get enough of that trend right?! Pairing a black and white stripe dress with it to give off that “mouse” vibe, I decided to add these amazing lace knee high stockings and metallic shoes (to match with my metallic Mouse Queen crown) to complete the look. And of course, THE MAKEUP! Since my outfit was in the black scheme (which is so UN-Fashionlaine like of me), I wanted to bring out the color in my face, so we used an array of NYX Cosmetics below to give keep in tact my fave rainbow color scheme. But really, how amazing are those eyes and double color lips?!

Check out Scene 1: Introduction of the Nutcracker here if you haven’t seen already!
