Have you ever had those days when there’s been something you really want to wear so much that you completely base the rest of your look on that one item just so you can ensure that it will make a special appearance in your outifit of the day? Well that’s exactly what happened with today’s look. While I’m very much not really feeling this freezing weather that is amongst us Angelenos, I do love the fact that I get to pull out my warm turban/upscaled ear muffs that fit perfectly within this LA winter. You can’t really just casually wear this turban with anything, so I knew when I was pulling this combo together that I had to devote the entire look to meshing well with the headband, dubbing my unique method of dressing as “backward styling”. Rummaging through my closet and letting the turban speak for itself, I allowed the remaining pieces to simply fall into place. Of course, I just happened to have the perfect sweater that if I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought came as two for one package. The wedges, leggings and studded purse finalized the look, making my backward styling mission a success.
