Fashionlaine is all about finding amazing clothes for amazing prices– my belief is that you don’t have to spend a million bucks to look like it. I went to the Beverly Center a few weeks back on the hunt for the perfect outfit for an event I was going to that evening. With probably only a hour and a half to spare, I zoomed in and out of literally every store there, but yet, nothing was really resonating or speaking to me. When I finally went into Love Culture, at this point pretty much out of luck and hope that I would find that “IT” piece I was looking for, I went through most of the store seeing things that were cute but not what I needed. About to walk out the door and starting to go through in my mind what I could whip together quickly from my closet, I came across this orange romper. And within seconds, I was confident that this was the IT. For those who are unfamiliar with Love Culture, it’s a Forever 21-esque kind of store, with reasonable prices and cute and trendy clothes. So you can imagine my excitement that I not only found the piece I was looking for, but that from all of the stores in the Beverly Center, it came from Love Culture.
Fast forward now to the event I went to where I ended up receiving so many compliments on the romper. And naturally, when everyone asked me where it was from, I without a flinch said Love Culture, to which I got surprised looks and reactions from people. This is just yet another example of how it really doesn’t matter where you buy your clothes from. Sure the fancy names and the expensive items are nice to have, but at the end of the day, people gather their opinion about an outfit or article of clothing as a whole before they gather their opinion about it based on the brand and price tag. So as I always like to preach, don’t stray away from the obvious (and less expensive choices) because at the end of the day, it’s all about you loving the pieces that makes your outfits worthwhile, not the dollar sign or name attached to it.
