St Patty’s

Yesterday was St Patrick’s Day so obviously that meant that it was time for a celebration. St Patrick’s Day is probably the most interesting holiday to me because… what is it that we’re actually celebrating? In reality, the day is supposed to commemorate Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrate the heritage and culture of the Irish in general. But to me, and probably most of society who may not know this real meaning, it’s simply to go out and have fun with your friends… and have a reason to figure out how to incorporate green into your attire (and trust me– that’s not easy!). I decided to take on this holiday by going to The Charleston in Santa Monica to commemorate old Saint Patrick and the Irish with brunch, live music, mimosas, and, of course, token leprechaun hats and four leaf clover sunglasses by our side.
