Punky In Plaid

I don’t know why, but whenever I think of plaid, I automatically think of punk rock and Avril Lavigne circa her “Complicated” and “Sk8ter Boi” days. That’s what everyone naturally thinks of… right? Well, I’m not sure what it may be– maybe I’ve having Avril nostalgia (“Complicated” is one of the best songs ever!) or maybe I’m just interested in channeling my inner punk, but whatever it is, I’m kinda obsessed with plaid a lot these days. So as you can imagine, when I saw this plaid t-shirt dress combo, I got wayy too excited. But clearly, I guess I can never go full punky throttle as I end up always adding a little Fashionlaine touch to everything. Making it a little punk meets prep with the knee high socks and then adding a little bit of my hippie side with the floral headband, I think we can safely say I’ll probably never turn into a full on punk anytime soon… but this is close enough.
