Christmas this, Christmas that. While Hanukkah takes place 8 out of the 365 days of the year and Christmas is only one, I feel like Christmas gets all the love and Hanukkah is put to the side. So today, I decided it was time to give Hanukkah that little attention it deserves. Sure, it’s way easier to partake in Christmas celebrations because there’s all these fun decorations, trees, Santa Clauses, gingerbread cookies and more in toe. But this year, Christmas sweaters beware! Hanukkah is competing in full swing with probably the most epic line of sweaters and cardigans I have ever seen. Whether you celebrate Hanukkah or not, you have to admit that these catchy sweaters and styles from Geltfiend are so freakin cute that you’d want to wear them too (I’m pretty sure Kanye West wouldn’t hesitate in rockin one either). With a vintage yet super trendy feel to the pieces and with a Hanukkah themed pattern and print that is casually blended into the look, this cardigan along with the other styles easily go from kitschy and cheesy to classy and amazing. When I first laid eyes on this cardigan, I was floored with its amazingness that I just had to have it. Liking to have my cardigans a little bit baggy, I chose to get the men’s cardigan to which I then tucked into today’s skirt (even though I could easily have layered it over a good pair of leggings). But don’t think that I’m the only one who’s caught the eye and attention of these epic pieces. Recently featured in Cosmopolitan Magainze, Bust Magazine, and The Maccabeats’ (a popular all-male Jewish accapella group that spoofs famous songs) latest and great music video for their Hanukkah rendition of Ellie Goulding’s “Burn”, it’s safe to say that this year Hanukkah is getting the love it deserves.
