How does that old saying? You can take the seasons out of florals, but you can’t take the florals out of seasons? Ok fine, I just made that up, but it’s a pretty good saying that should be used more often. Either way, that’s a saying that I’ve come to see that I use no matter what season we’re in. Over the summer I was a floral headband loving machine, so I was a little sad to acknowledge the pink elephant in my headband drawer’d room where I was going to have to accept the day that would come where I wouldn’t be able to wear a floral halo on my head in the fall and winter seasons. But atlas! The day has come. It’s fall. And the floral headbands are still popping up in my ensembles. You see my friends, as my fave saying goes (…coined by myself again), “be what you want, wear what you want”. And even though I was a little frightened to exit my house wearing today’s floral headband wondering what others would think, I just followed my own saying and went for it. It’s all about how you pair the entire look together which makes all the difference; so tying today’s floral headband together with a turtle neck (crop top of course), cardigan, and the perfect shade of a long purple skirt– you too see how easy it can be to wear florals in the fall.
