When I think Fall, I think Back To School, and I instantly think Old Navy. Probably because I remember back in my schooling days, my friends and I would do our annual Back To School shopping together, getting our whole wardrobe ready for the new year and Old Navy was a must stop-by in our shopping rounds. As I mentioned yesterday, we’re slowly transitioning into the Fall phases over yonder here in LA, and that soon means that we’re (or at least I am) going to have to store away my crop tops and shorts and fulfill my closet’s needs with warmer and more Autumn-esque clothing. So I thought, instead of dreaming about Fall, why not show you it? Putting together my two favorite must-have looks for the season, one for Day and one for Night, I pull my top two picks for how to look chic this Fall.
Everything about this outfit to me symbolizes Fall. From the maroon pants (which is a must-have color this season) to the button down with the light hue of pink stripes, to of course, these cheetah slippers that I’ve seriously been dreaming of owning in my closet for months, this outfit is the perfect blend between prep and fun that will make your classmates (or co-workers) maroon with envy.

When looking to spend a night out on the town, the perfect skirt, heels, and top are key from going simple to chic. And while we were all about the mini skirts for those scorching hots days in the Summer, it’s all about the mid length skirts for Fall. Over the Summer I was endlessly living in floppy and wide-brimmed hats, yet I foresee my hat game shifting a bit for this season where I’ll be bringing in caps and playing them up in unique and unexpected ways like how I did with this outfit.
