Crop tops, lace, neon and sunnies. Does this not just make you want to have a picnic or lie on the grass listening to some hipster bands? My favorite non-holiday of the whole year just happened this weekend– Daylight Savings. And with that, it may mean technically waking up one hour earlier in the mornings, but it also means one more hour of sunlight at the end of the day. And what THAT means, is that we’ve officially turned ways and our heading into the spring. With spring comes the thought of one of my favorite California based music festivals– Coachella. And of course, with my fashionista ways, I’m already stressing about what I’m going to wear. Officially starting the search near and far for every kind of headband, high waisted shorts, bandeau tops, and more, I’ve now self-appointed myself in Coachella mode, working overtime to try to update and replenish my wardrobe successfully within this next month. But whether you’re going to embark on Coachella or not, it’s time for you too to update your wardrobe by finally being ok to bring some neon purchases back into your life. When I first bought this American Apparel skirt, I was hesitant about the coloring, but without a doubt, every single time I have worn it, I have always gotten some form of comment/ compliment on it, making me know time and time again that it was definitely not a mistake. So whether you’re on the hunt to find the perfect desert princess attire or not, Daylight Savings is your official reminder and cue that it’s finally time to update your wardrobe with the official spring necessities.
