When I want something, I get obsessed with it until I have it in my possession. And then when I have it, I wear it to death as if I don’t own anything else in my entire closet. So when I took a visit to the Fairfax Flea Market a week or two ago, I visited one of my favorite jewelery stands that always has super cute and affordable necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. And then I automatically saw this big gold E initial on a simple short chain. As those that know me can see, I am definitely one that is clearly in love with anything that has some reference to my name on it (I think I have my name on at minimum 5 different jewelry items). So it was a no-brainer that I quickly couldn’t resist this new Elaine reference. But of course, I wanted to spice up the item, and so I got the jeweler to switch out the simple thin string-like chain for this thick and amazingly perfect gold chain. And from that purchase on, the E chain has made many appearances in my outfits on the daily. Trying to play with different ways in which I can wear the look, my favorite style with the chain has been pairing it with a crop top, high-waisted shorts, and an oversized open shirt (which is all I love wear these days). Making my outfit easy, simple, and fun, I’ve been able to create the ultimate yet subtle hood/ ratchet meets hipster ensemble any fashionista can replicate and wear.
