Day 3 of “A Very Merry Monique Christmas” is dedicated to probably the most iconic Christmas movie of them all– A Christmas Carol. We all know the story of good old Scrooge and his grumpy ways, but why does it seem like the Ghosts in the whole thing are so underplayed?! Therefore today, I decided to dedicate this post to probably my most favorite Ghost of them all– A Ghost of Christmas Past. In the original story, she’s angelic and white with a blazing light reminiscent of a candle flame on her head. In my Fashionlaine tale though, the Ghost of Christmas Past takes on the look of a starry beautiful night sky with the replacement of a flame (of course) with none other than a beautiful bejeweled headband. The scenery to me had to reflect an alley and a back way to which is what I envisioned as way of passage and travel through Scrooge’s past and thus became the backdrop of today’s shoot. And is it just me or do these dresses just get more beautiful as the days go on?
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!
