Step aside Darren Criss, there’s a new fashionista in town! There was a moment in time where I was an avid TV watcher and one of my favorite shows was Glee. Other than the Britney Spears themed episode which was epic, I think one of my favorite highlights of the show was when Darren Criss was introduced to viewers as the amazingly talented Blaine. But I think on top of girls melting from the sound of his perfect songs and voice (who can forget when he did this version of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”?), I think we all died the most with every outfit he wore. But usually, these characters are just those in books or TV shows, never being able to meet someone nearly as amazing as the fictional characters we grow attached to. Thank goodness for us Fashionlainers though, I’ve been able to find a real life Blaine –someone who one ups the “Blaine look”, making it look better than ever. Never being afraid to play with patterns, bright and bold colors, and even bow ties, Francisco knows how to not let his fans (like me) down, by always coming up with the ultimate outfits. Sometimes with fashion it can be a hit or miss, and not everyone (including myself) has the most supreme and perfect fashion days. But I can confidently say that there hasn’t been one moment with Francisco that I haven’t seen his outfits be a hit. With crisp and clean cut looks and unique combos that I may never have thought of putting together myself (i.e. collared polka dot shirt, red skinny jeans, and tuxedo shoes), Francisco shows us being fashionable is not only that of stories and TV shows.
