Happy Tuesday Fashionlainers! Hope you all had a great and relaxing President’s Day weekend. I’m sure like many of you, I am constantly on the go, running from one errand or task to another–not having too much time to just relax and hang out. So when this President’s Day weekend snuck up so casually upon me and almost out of the blue, I kept wondering to myself “what am I going to do with all this three day weekend time?!” So of course, yesterday had to consist of a day venturing to the very rarely visited Downtown neighborhood and a lunch at one of my all-time favorite restaurants, Bottega Louie. Very much a throwback to a Dean & Deluca New York feel, this restaurant which feels almost out of place amongst its neighboring stores and bars, is one of the ultimate places to dine with yummy pizzas that are to die for and the tastiest french macarons that are so pretty that you don’t want to ruin. The look I went for with my outfit was dressy casual, pairing a simple dress with an oversized sweater, and tieing it together with my favorite sneaker wedges that have officially become my obsession go-to shoes of the moment. A perfect outfit for a perfect Louie kinda day.
