Today I’m teaming up with Styleshack (a local online platform which is designed to connect shoppers to local boutiques and specialty stores based on your style and location) to introduce you to one of my favorite local LA stores Polkadots and Moonbeams. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I have oogled and fawned over this store for years, always trying (with somewhat of a fail) to talk myself out of NOT walking out of the store with absolutely everything in it because all the items are just that good. Well today, I’m excited that I finally get to share this local boutique with you all through Styleshack.
Thinking about what pieces from the store I wanted to showcase in today’s post, I thought what better way to get it all together than by tying in my favorite season of them all with it– festival season. As some of our favorite music festivals are inching up right around the corner (can you believe Coachella is next week?!), I thought this would be the perfect time to pull together three of my favorite festival fashion trends and looks with pieces all from Polkadots and Moonbeams. So whether you’re looking to channel your inner Flower Child, Bohemian Chick, or be the Jumpsuit Queen– Styleshack, Polkadots and Moonbeams, and I have got you covered below!
Happy Festival Season!
xoxo
FLOWER CHILD
When I think music festival fashion, I instantly think about that the floral loving girl that loves to pull her favorite crop top, high waisted shorts, and of course, floral headband, out to come and play. Some people might call this the “cliche” festival look, but I find it my most favorite (maybe because it’s the look I instantly love heading to whenever I hear that something like Coachella is just around the corner). So for this floral-loving-girl ensemble, I was instantly drawn to these fun patterned shorts, little blue crop top, and pretty white lace jacket to tie it all together (pun intended). The heart sunglasses were total perfection with this and, of course, the floral headband is nothing but beyond necessary. I mean, who doesn’t love to have an excuse to channel their inner hippie while sunbathing on the grass listening to their favorite artists in the middle of the dessert?

BOHEMIAN CHICK
For the girl looking to channel her inner bohemian vibes, I think this outfit has just what you’re looking for all over it. Wanting to switch up your headwear game for Day 2 of your music festival looks, this floppy hat vibe is obvi the next best way to go (and will dual as a fashionable protection against the blazing sun that will be heading your way). When I first saw this lace dress at the store, I instantly fell in love. How cute and perfect is it?! I think it’s just the right amount of dressy and chic yet breezy and comfy to get you going all day long while you’re hopping around from tent to tent. And I’m crazy all about the choker trend these days so this look to me would totally not be complete with adding a choker (or two).

JUMPSUIT QUEEN
Last but certainly not least, the jumpsuit queen. Who can end festival season without including an epic jumpsuit into the mix? Obviously to me, anything floral is always the best way to go, so when I saw this floral Free People jumpsuit that also happened to have the cutest off the shoulder vibe, I instantly couldn’t resist. Adding this belt to give it a little extra jazz–throw in a top knot, some lavender lipstick, another cute choker, and a fun pair of shades and you’re more than ready to go with your final look to round out your music festival debut.
