Yes, I did it. I fully volunteered myself to leave bright and sunny Los Angeles to enter the freezing antarctic that was– New York Fashion Week. If you follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (@iamfashionlaine), you saw my day to day outings and commentaries on how this little LA girl handled the 8th wonder to her world– snow. Yet, I can proudly say that I came, I saw, and conquered (aka survived)! Through the madness of it all (and the layers upon layers I had to put on to be warm yet still look cute in those temps), I can still say that I had to best time going to some of my favorite shows, seeing some of my favorite people, and experiencing yet again, one of my favorite cities. Whether it was heading backstage with M.A.C. Cosmetics for the Desigual show (where Mrs. Adam Levine– Behati, was the star model), seeing all of my favorites from Ciara, Fashion By Mayhem, and Fifth Harmony get prepped for the Macy’s Go Red show, seeing Prince and Ariana Grande perform at the exclusive Jordan Brand 30th Anniversary event, or simply relaxing at my colorfully bright The Williams NYC hotel, a lot went down when I was in New York and I’m glad I was able to take some snaps along the way to be able to share with you!
