Two weeks ago (how has it been two weeks already?!) I was in one of my favorite cities of all times– NEW YORK! What I love about “the city that never sleeps” is its ability to literally become the city that never sleeps! There’s always so much to do there that from the moment you wake up, you can endlessly be on-the-go all day long… and then repeat that over and over again every single day. Yet, no matter how busy I get each time I’m in this fabulous concrete jungle of a city, there’s always one thing that I just HAVE to do when I’m out there– visit Central Park. I don’t know what it is about Central Park, but it’s become my New York happy place and somewhere that I just live to go, visit, and take at least a hour or two to spend it with some of my favorite people in the city.
Thinking that since I was heading out there in June and the weather was going to be sunny and fabulous all weekend long, I had packed my top of line summer essential clothing for the weekend. Yet when I got there, the weather continually was shifting from mediocre to sunny and fabulous to torrential downpours– I just couldn’t keep up! But finally, on my last full day in New York, I woke up to the most beautiful sunny day and I just knew that this had to be my epic Central Park moment. I had packed a pair of these Sanuk Yoga Gora Gora sandals with me that I had envisioned wearing to Central Park all weekend long so the second I saw the sun come out, I grabbed the sandals and this perfect cute floral dress and had the prettiest and most perfect park day that I had envisioned all weekend long. And obvi got the cutest photos to remember it all.
