Hats. There’s a big misconception about them. Those who wear them, wear them all the time. But for those who don’t, it’s as if they’re not allowed for the general population and only are fit for the boho hipsters of the world. I’m not one to bust out the hats typically because as it comes to habit, I too feel out of place wearing them. But when rainy LA had a glimpse of sunshine this past weekend, I decided to switch it up a bit and get out of my own comfort zone, going full throttle in what I like to call my “Alley Cat” look. It was only fitting to complete the ensemble by throwing in the high waisted shorts, red lips and laced up flats with a cute tee. Fashion is about stepping outside of your boundary and trying new things that you may never have done before. So if you’re into a style but don’t feel like it’s very “you”, take the courage to switch it up, greet your inner hipster, and make it all you!
