What I love about fashion is that there are so many ways one can individualize a certain trend or outfit to make it their own. Two people can walk into a room wearing the same dress, yet it’s a matter of how they wear it and own it that sets them apart from each other. 2014 is the perfect time to experiment with new trends, shapes, and styles, and in lieu of one of my favorite online shops, Boohoo, and their new #OwnIt collection which focuses on new shapes and how to wear them, I decided to join in on the fun and show you how I #OwnIt! Setting the location of the shoot at one of my absolute new favorite places in Los Angeles, the newly opened Ace Hotel, the setting, architecture, and ambiance was perfect for this hipster inspired shoot. As I love dresses (and especially when I can make them a little baggy), I decided to show you how I work it with the drop down waist dress trend. With knee high socks, Superga sneakers, and a little top hat action, I call today’s hipster fashion look “The Hipster Chick”.
