Color Blocking Vibes

Sometimes it's that little flare of color that you need to make your outfit of the day go from simple to fab. For today's look, it was all about the color blocking and bringing out the little subtle hints of pink and purple to make this ensemble stand out. Going through my closet and figuring out how to piece together today's look, I initially started with this fun Amanda Uprichard dress that already screamed #party. With this piece already on its own ready to take charge and lead the way, I wanted to match it with a pair of shoes and a jacket that wouldn't overpower the whole look but simply compliment it. Deciding to hone in on the pink/purple color scheme of the dress, I pulled in these pretty purple knee high boots and black jacket that had pops of tie-dye to make this ensemble #ThatsSoElaine.

Emoji Queen

If there are two things that I love in this world, it's emojis & t-shirts with sayings. And t-shirts with sayings that reference to my love for emojis?? -- that's just on a whole other level of epicness! I've always dreamed of creating my own line and pieces with fun sayings like t-shirts that say "Emoji Queen" on them, so you can imagine my excitement when I came across Zazzle that gave me the ability to do just that! With a super easy uploading tool where I was able to create my shirt, writing, and logo to look and be just the way I wanted it, this is the easiest website for anyone looking to create the items of their dreams with no hassle! (Where was this when I was planning my friend's bachelorette and needed 15 cute t-shirts made asap?!) And the best part of all is that this isn't only limited to just tees. Being able to create everything from phone cases to mugs, business cards, stationary and more, you can literally build out your favorite customized products in just a few simple steps.

Inspired by everyone who is (un)fortunately heading back to school this week, I thought for today's look it was only appropriate to pair my first ever Fashionlaine creation with a little plaid skirt action-- totally making me all the rage (and envy) of any and every school girl, right? Step aside Britney Spears circa ...Baby One More Time!
