Continuing on my adventures from SXSW, today's post is dedicated to one of my favorite topics-- food! I heard that Austin's food was amazing, but I didn't know just how amazing it was until I got there (I literally ate so many quesos I don't really know what to do with myself). But on top of the yummy gourmet and speciality restaurants they seemed to have at every corner, what was just as much all the rage (or if not, even more), were the food trucks! Not only did they taste incredible, but some of them were built out in such beautiful and extravagant ways, like this cupcake one, that it was hard not to stop and eat at... or take a photoshoot with.
If you've been up to speed on my #LifeInTheFastlaine adventures via Instagram and Snapchat (username: @iamfashionlaine), you fully know that I was in Austin, Texas last week for SXSW (hence the quietness on the blog). And then you also probably saw the ins and outs of my daily adventures thanks to Snapchat! This was my first trip to Austin and I couldn't have been anymore in love! The people were super nice, the food was amazingly delicious, and we got blessed with the most perfect weather. There's a street in Austin called Rainey Street filled with the cutest little bars that to me defined the true Texan spirit (which is where I shot these photos). As I was there during the music week portion of SXSW, the street which was just a few days prior one that was filled with locals catching a drink with their friends quickly became a pop up music hopping party of performers from door to door. It was exactly what I had dreamt SXSW would be, if not more!
