I can't believe another New York Fashion Week has come and gone and I was lucky enough to be there yet again for it first hand!Read More
Continuing on my walk down memory lane from this past month's New York Fashion Week festivities, I end my travel diary recap with my last (but not least!) two favorite looks from this trip. Looking back all the pictures from New York and Fashion Week, I love the versatility that I was able to bring to each of my styles and ensembles, making every look I wore on this trip completely different from the last. With this first outfit, I was able to tie in my three favorite pieces into one-- vests, high waisted shorts, and big hats-- creating what to me was a hipster meets fun prepster look. And then of course, my must-have Carrie Bradshaw moment that exceeded all (in my book). Bringing forth the ever so popular tulle skirts, I decided to pair it with a cute cheeky Cynthia Rowley tee and the most beautiful and glittery Keds of all which to me made for the absolute perfect tutu look. Teaming up with New York photographer Noel McGrath for today's fun photos, this just makes me excited to countdown to my next New York experience.

Are We Social Besties Yet?
Another New York Fashion Week has come and gone and (thankfully) I survived-- yet again! It's so crazy to think that this was my fourth fashion week and that I feel like I can totally consider myself a Fashion Week pro at this point (or as pro as can be). I remember when I first started out my blog, I thought to myself "wow, one day if I can make it to Fashion Week, I'll totally feel like I'm living the fashion dream." And then my first attempt at heading to Fashion Week came around and I remember I was such a little lost fashionista in the sea of people at Lincoln Center and all throughout town. And I remember than thinking to myself "wow, if I'm able to get myself invited to a lot of really good shows (or just shows in general!) for this trip, then I'll feel like I'm slowly making it." And then there we were, little Elaine in the big city, heading to some shows (big and small) and some great parties along the way (I made a YouTube video about this trip here!). Then fast forward to the next year where I came back with a bit more understanding about the Fashion Week lay of the land and some more blogging experience under my belt. And from there, it's kind of become history with each Fashion Week that has come and gone since, feeling more knowledgable about everything. Now getting to work with some of my favorite brands for all of my looks (that got me featured in Cosmopolitan and Fashionista.com for Best Street Style of Fashion Week!) and getting invited to go to all of the top amazing shows that I wanted to see, I definitely think this Fashion Week was one for the books and reminds me that this is still only just the beginning.
