How is it practically 2014 already?! I feel like I remember it like it was yesterday when I was getting ready to ring in 2013. The years just fly by so fast, I feel like they go faster and faster as we get older. Looking back on this year, do you feel like you accomplished what you set out to do? Did you hit your New Year’s resolutions headstrong or did they fall to the sidelines? (I’m trying to even remember what I set out as my resolutions for this year and can’t even think of them…). Looking back on this past year for myself alone, I can see how much growth there has been, how much I’ve learned, and how much I have accomplished in different aspects of my life. And with that, while I usually get completely nervous about ringing in a New Year as I feel like there’s a lot of pressure to follow, this year, I’m more determined, more focused, and more excited than ever to hit 2014 with a bang and actually make resolutions that I’ll focus on and complete. So if there are any last words I can say and bring to you Fashionlainers before the clock strikes midnight and the ball drops in Times Square (twice– east coast and west), it would be to take hold of this year and make it count! It’s very easy to go through life just handling your day to day tasks and getting through the year quickly and suddenly like they always tend to happen. But what do you really want out of this year? Think about your goals and really set yourself up for success. Because really, anything can happen if you just try. And of course, wear a super cute New Year’s Eve outfit in the meantime.
